How do you get that softness in your drawings Sandra?
Answer: It's the paper and the pencils.
(Plus I don't drink and draw! LOL)
I am very persnickety about my pencils and paper because I love Photographic Realism.
This 11x14 tablet contains very smooth paper and it's 100% cotton so it's archival too (meaning the paper won't yellow - if cared for properly).
TIP: If you use the wrong paper or if you don't protect your paper, it can yellow over time, destroying all your hard work.

Packet of 5 Plastic Sleeves
I carry my drawings around in these sturdy plastic archival sleeves so that my drawings won't bend or get yellowed by cheap plastic. I even store my drawings in these sleeves in my flat file to protect the art work like a valuable document. (This is the same grade used to protect valuable government documents.)
