At age 84, Nita has now drawn over 500 lifelike portraits for friends, family

and even strangers. She draws at least 3-4 hours daily.

The more complicated

the subject, the more

Nita loves it.

Nita wins almost every contest

she enters and her work has

appeared on TV, on the

cover of books, magazine

columns and she's been

featured in newspapers.

This drawing of an

oriental girl won Nita

FIRST PLACE in an

Art contest.

For Nita, drawing is her release valve, her serenity zone; the place she goes when

she needs to disappear from the world for awhile. She derives so much pleasure from

watching her subjects come to life.
